Surf's Up, Pikachu
1 - Attack of the Demon Stomach
Lapras lands Ash and Pikachu on one of the seven Pomelo Islands. There are pomelo trees everywhere, and Ash takes one, but arrows fire at him and a girl runs up. She yells at him for being a pomelo pick-pocket, but Ash apologises. The girl, Pamela (Ruby in show), explains that she is paranoid about theives around harvesting time. At that moment, two men run up, shouting that the biggest pomelo thief of all has shown up.
A Snorlax is gutsing itself, snarfing down a lot of pomelos. No humans can stop it, so Pamela says they must pick all the pomelos before Snorlax can get them. Ash wants to capture it, sending out his Pokemon, but the attacks do not have a lot of effect. He comforts himself with the fact that Snorlax fall asleep after eating a certain amount of food - but Pamela tells him this one has a demon stomach, and won't fall asleep until it has eaten every pomelo on all the islands!
They pick all the pomelos on the island, but Snorlax does a weird jumping thing and propels itself through the air, flying to the next island. At Pomelo Secundus, the second island, Snorlax has started scoffing down more. It eats that island clean, then jumps to the next.
Pamela is worried, but Ash says he has an idea - put it to sleep. He tries to hypnotise it, but hypnotises himself. Then he gives it a massage, but it slugs him off. Pamela is distraught, having spent so much hard work growing the pomelos, and Snorlax is eating them too fast to even taste them. She wraps a blanket around it, 'counts Snorlax' (as opposed to sheep) and then sings a lullaby, unfortunately being very, VERY tone-deaf.
Snorlax does not appreciate the off-tune lullaby, but Ash is inspired. However, none of the pomelo growers have a Pokemon that can sing. Then, in their hour of need, a Jigglypuff appears. Ash grabs it, holds it out, and forces it to sing. (Poor Jigglypuff, it was just wandering by innocently!)
Ash captures Snorlax after it falls asleep. Pamela looks at the ground, and sees that wherever pomelo seeds that Snorlax spat out fell, new sprouts are already coming up. Snorlax have the power to help plants grow. But now Ash is stuck with a Pokemon that eats over 800 pounds of food a day...
